Like all of the students here at Harvard Law School, military service members come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and with many different identities and interests. In particular, the number of enlisted veterans is a growing part of the military community at HLS. Visit the links below to hear from some of these students, including their thoughts on applying to law school, advice for future applicants, and their reflections on how experiences in the military have informed their success at Harvard Law School.

The students below are all members of the Armed Forces Association (AFA) at HLS, which is a student-run organization composed of military veterans, active duty service members, and those interested in joining or supporting the Armed Forces of the United States of America. You can learn more about Harvard Law’s veteran community online or on Instagram, and the AFA encourages you to contact them with any questions.
