An Update from Austin Hall

Many of you may have heard about some of the precautionary measures that Harvard Law School has implemented to keep our community healthy during the coronavirus outbreak. Most notably, classes have moved to online instruction, and many students, faculty, and staff will be working remotely after Spring Break.

It is hard to believe that one week ago at this time we were getting ready for our Admitted Students Weekend moot court event. A campus that was full of energy is now quiet. Many of our team members will move to remote work next week, but you can rest assured that we are still putting in every effort to get your decisions to you quickly.

To our admitted students – these are uncertain times, but what is certain is that the J.D. Admissions team is here and committed to providing whatever support and guidance that we can. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your interviewer with any questions and concerns that you have. While making a visit to campus in the coming weeks isn’t encouraged, we are working to develop a number of virtual opportunities for you to learn more about the unique community here at HLS. Stay tuned.

To our prospective students – we’re proceeding as scheduled with our Junior Deferral Program (JDP) and Transfer Student processes. Be sure to check out our website for more details on the timeline and requirements for both.
