While event spaces on campus are primarily intended for use by Harvard Law School Affiliates, space can be rented by other Harvard Schools or external organizations. Non-HLS groups rent space with different sets of restrictions and fees than the HLS community.
If an HLS Affiliate will be having an event on campus in conjunction with an external organization, the following criteria must be met:
- An HLS representative must be the point-of-contact for all communications with the Office of Event Scheduling and Support regarding the event — OES will not communicate with representatives of an outside group if an HLS Affiliate is listed as the event sponsor
- This representative must be present on-site for the duration of the scheduled event
- The HLS affiliate sponsoring the event must provide their 33-digit billing code for any and all charges associated with the event
If the above criteria cannot be met, please refer the external group to OES directly, or have them fill out the Event Inquiry form below:
