If you’ll be a continuing student at Harvard next year and have a background in economics, consider applying to be a Teaching Fellow for Ec10 at the College! A description of the position has been provided below by the course’s leaders. Those interested in applying should email Olivia Lofton at olofton@jd25.law.harvard.edu to receive a pdf that describes the course and the application process.

Dear prospective Ec10 section leaders,

We have had a great time teaching Ec10, the introductory economics sequence for Harvard undergraduates, for the last six years. It is amazing how many powerful ideas are introduced in this course that can permanently change the way students see the world and enable them to understand and participate in the major economic debates of the day. We feel that teaching this course makes us better-informed and more wide-ranging economists. We think you might enjoy joining us!

If that tempts you, please come to our information session next week (see below).

We hope to see you there (and we will have pizza)!

Key Dates:

Info Session: Tuesday, 2/4, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Location TBD

Application Deadline: We encourage you to apply by our priority deadline of February 7, although we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis.

Warm regards,
Jason Furman
