Learn about the Virtual Spring Interview Program & Employer Chats – Bidding opens on January 7! 

OPIA is hosting a virtual Spring Interview Program (SIP) featuring public sector employers recruiting for summer internships and postgraduate positions.  Bidding will take place in early/mid January in Symplicity CSM, with virtual interviews held later in month and early February. Watch our emails for more information on the program, including participating employers, when you return from break. 

In order to see employers in Symplicity CSM (and bid through the SIP program), you must complete a transcript release form. As soon as you complete this form, the “OCI” tab will appear in your account and you can begin viewing employer information.

In conjunction with the Virtual Spring Interview Program, there will be virtual employer chats with public sector employers between January 12 – 15th that students may register for in advance. Employer chats allow students to network with employers in an informal setting, and to learn more about the organization’s work and opportunities to engage. More details about employer chats, including who will be participating, and how to sign-up, will be shared in early January.  

In the meantime, review OPIA’s Spring Interview Program page for key dates and details and get a snapshot of the current list of participating employers (subject to change). Employer registration is still open, and we expect additional employers to participate.
