We want to alert you to some new clinic offerings for 2015-2016, as well as some changes to our already existing clinics!

NEW – Public Education Policy and Consulting Clinic – students spend either the fall or spring semester in New York City; by application (not included in clinical registration preferencing). For application instructions and more information, please view the clinic description in the HLS course catalogThe application for this clinic (regardless of which semester you are applying for) is due March 31, 2015.

NEW – Federal Tax Clinic – offered in either the fall or spring semester; available in clinical registration preferencing. For more information, please view the clinic description in the HLS course catalog.

NEW – Winter term offering of the Transactional Law Clinics (in past years, there has only been the option for students to participate in the fall or spring terms – now they have the option of fall, winter or spring term). For more information, please view the clinic description in the HLS course catalog.

COMING SOON – Limited clinical placements (both in-house and externship) through Visiting Professor Amy Cohen’s spring 2016 course, “Law, Development and Global Food Policy.” More details will follow.

BACK AFTER A ONE YEAR HIATUS – Making Rights Real: The Ghana Project Clinic – now a spring term clinic where students travel to Ghana over spring break; by application (not included in clinical registration preferencing). For application instructions and more information, please view the clinic description in the HLS course catalog.

NOW BY APPLICATION AND REQUIRES 20 HOURS/WEEK
Government Lawyer: United States Attorney Clinic – offered in either the fall or spring semester. This clinic requires students to work 20 hours/week (4 clinical credits for the semester) and is now by application (in past years, this clinic was included in clinical registration preferencing). For application instructions and more information, please view the clinic description in the HLS course catalog.
The application for this clinic (regardless of which semester you are applying for) is due April 7, 2015.
