Professor David Lopez seeks to hire a research assistant for projects focusing on U.S.-Mexican/Latin America agreements cooperation on immigration and drug trafficking, Mexican-Cuban/Venezuelan/Colombian agreements on migration, US/Mexican/Latin American or other international civil society in opposition or critiques to U.S. Mexican binational immigration agreements, and Mexican/international protections for migrants in transit or asylees/refugees.
Please note that this opportunity is not open to students’ registered in Professor Lopez’s seminar. Preferred candidates should be comfortable working with Spanish language sources, though modifications to the project can be made if necessary.
