| May 2, 2023 | Housing application opens at 9am for newly admitted J.D.s, LL.M.s and exchange students |
| May 10, 2023 | Housing application closes at 11:59pm for newly admitted J.D.s, LL.M.s and exchange students |
| May 12, 2023 | Lottery assignment is announced for newly admitted J.D.s, LL.M.s and exchange students by 12pm |
| May 15, 2023 (before noon) | Spring Semester Move Out for 1Ls and 2Ls |
| May 16, 2023 | Housing portal opens at 9am for room selection and room swap for newly admitted J.D.s, LL.M.s and exchange students |
| May 29, 2023 (before noon) | MOVE OUT FOR ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS |
| June 1, 2023 | Housing application and portal opens at 9am for transfers, S.J.D.s, off-campus returning students and late on-campus applicants |
| June 30, 2023 | Last day for room swap in Resident Halls for J.D.s, LL.M.s and exchange students. All reservations are final. |
| June 30, 2023 | Last day to cancel a reservation without penalty |
| July 15, 2023 (prior to) | Room cancellation fees apply on Resident Hall reservations. Read cancellation policy for HLS Apartments. |
| July 16, 2023 (onward) | Room cancellation fees apply on Resident Hall reservations. Read cancellation policy for HLS Apartments. |

Plan your campus arrival and departure accordingly as exceptions cannot be made. Students cannot move in earlier than the dates provided however, they can move in on a later date. If you must arrive early in Cambridge or need additional time in Cambridge after your move out date, please check the link below.
