        Reflections on the Digital World: Internet Monitor releases 2014 report
 December 17, 2014 Internet Monitor, a research project based at Harvard Law School's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, recently published the project's second annual report, "Internet Monitor 2014: Reflections on the Digital World," a collection of roughly three dozen short contributions that highlight and discuss some of the most compelling events and trends in the digitally networked environment over the past year.

        A Recipe for Innovation

        School network consortium partners with Cyberlaw Clinic to create privacy toolkit for school systems
 May 1, 2014 With the help of the Cyberlaw Clinic, the Consortium of School Networks (“CoSN”) released the Protecting Privacy in Connected Learning Toolkit. The toolkit, issued in March as part of CoSN’s new Protecting Privacy in Connected Learning initiative, provides an in-depth, step-by-step privacy guide is to help school system leaders navigate complex federal laws and related issues.

        Berkman Center announces leadership transition
 April 18, 2014 The Berkman Center for Internet & Society has announced a significant leadership transition as Professor William (Terry) Fisher steps down after 12 years as Chair of the Board of Directors and Professor Jonathan Zittrain, the co-founder of the Berkman Center and Vice Dean for Library and Information Resources at Harvard Law School, assumes the role. The change will be effective as of July 1, 2014.

        Harvard’s Berkman Center to launch global network focused on youth-oriented hate speech
 April 16, 2014 The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University has announced an effort to form a first-of-its-kind thematic network of experts, educators, practitioners, and ambassadors that will facilitate, promote, and strengthen collaboration to counter youth-oriented hate speech online.

        Gasser appointed to Global Commission on Internet Governance’s new Research Advisory Network
 April 4, 2014 Harvard Law School Professor of Practice Urs Gasser LL.M. ’03 is among the twenty-five distinguished scholars and internationally recognized experts appointed to the Global Commission on Internet Governance’s (GCIG) new Research Advisory Network (RAN).
