Alex Walker

Alex Walker is the Rappaport Fellow at Harvard Law School. His research focuses on language and the law, applying linguistics, social science, and philosophy to legal questions. His current projects include testing the quality of private transcription services on English dialects, teaching the important features of English dialects to lawyers, and considering the role of language and AI in the administrative state.
Alex got his BA in Political Science-Economics and Linguistics from Columbia College and JD from Harvard. In addition to legal research, Alex also conducts research in linguistics as well as advocacy and research at the intersection of law and neuroscience with the Center for Law, Brain & Behavior at Massachusetts General Hospital.
