Due to federal hiring changes impacting in-process summer employment searches, judicial clerkships/internships will be eligible for summer public interest funding (SPIF) for the summer of 2025. Internships with a judge or court are typically not funded by SPIF, with the exception of international war crimes and human rights courts that involve more than one country.
If you have received a summer internship interview or offer, please fill out this brief survey to let OCS and OPIA know which employers you’ve already heard back from. If you have been affected by the federal government hiring freeze, please let us know in the survey as well.
Connecting with our remaining Wasserstein Fellows for the spring term, including Michael Santos from RESULTS Educational Fund. With expertise on housing and homelessness, Michael has had a long history of working on the rights of low-income and underrepresented communities through the Department of Health and Human Services, the Clinton Foundation, and various non-profit organizations.

Equal Justice America's fellowship program offers summer fellowship grants up to $5,000 for 10 weeks of full-time work. To apply, students need to have placement lined up with an organization that provides civil legal assistance to people in need. The deadline to apply is March 24, 2025.
