Harvard Law School recognizes that students who are married and those with dependent children have unique financial responsibilities and circumstances. While the process of applying for financial aid and the method of calculating eligibility for financial aid is consistent across the entire student population, there are differences in how the cost of attendance is determined as well as additional considerations in regards to a spouse’s income. This page is intended to help you navigate where there are differences in order to help you understand how your personal circumstances will factor into your financial aid while at HLS. If at any point you have questions we encourage you to reach out to your Financial Aid Officer to discuss your specific situation.
