Mohammad is passionate about innovative ways to use emerging technologies as tools to advance socio-economic outcomes and protect human rights. He will be a fellow with the Institute for Technology & Society (ITS Rio) based in Brazil where he will focus on efforts to improve data and privacy governance and encourage inclusive financial technologies. While at HLS, Mohammad served as the Co-President of the Law & International Development Society and he participated in the Cyberlaw and International Human Rights clinics. Mohammad is an avid language learner and speaks Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, French, Urdu, and Indonesian. Mohammad also completed an MPP from the University of Oxford and graduated summa cum laude with a BA from the University of Maryland.
