Jason Golfinos will be working with California Indian Legal Services to develop a program supporting American Indian military veterans seeking upgrades in their discharge statuses. This project will hopefully become a permanent fixture at California Indian Legal Services and help lay foundations for a career in either Indian law or legal services more generally. Many such veterans stand to benefit from under-advertised in the law governing discharge upgrades, and obtaining one removes many barriers to finding work. Before coming to law school, Jason studied political science and linguistics as an undergrad at Princeton and received an M.Phil in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. He is also a musical theater fanatic and competes in and writes questions for various trivia competitions in his spare time.
