Gender Justice
St. Paul, MN
Cici Coquillette has been awarded a PSVF Fellowship to work with Gender Justice in St. Paul, MN. Cici will be working to combat restrictions on abortion in Minnesota, expand access to reproductive healthcare, and advocate for the rights of trans students in K-12 education. Cici graduated from Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School in 2019 with a joint JD/MPP. Her joint degree thesis, Measuring Maturity: Adolescent Sex and Reproduction, Neuroscience, and the Law, considered the legal patchwork governing adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health and rights and proposed policy solutions based in part on the neuroscience behind adolescent decisionmaking. During her summers, Cici interned with the Center for Reproductive Rights, the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, and Rise Up, a program of the Public Health Institute. Cici was Notes Chair of the Harvard Law Review, a student writer for Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Program, and a Co-Chair of the Harvard Kennedy School Gender Policy Union. She clerked for the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr. in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in the 2019 term. Prior to law school, she was a legal assistant in the D.C. office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago.
