Progressive Prosecution: Navigating Criminal Justice Reform, Local Politics, and a Career in Government

On Monday, November 4, ACS, MENALSA, and HLS Democrats will be hosting The Honorable Ramin Fatehi for a lunch talk at 12:30pm in WCC 3018. Ramin is a progressive prosecutor who currently serves as the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Norfolk, Virginia. Ramin is the second Iranian-American elected prosecutor in the United States. He will discuss his experience in elected office, particularly his platform of public safety, equity, and criminal-justice reform, as well as his previous work as a public defender and in private practice before that.
