Poor nutrition is the leading driver of death and disability in the United States. What gives?
Join the Food Law and Policy Clinic for a conversation with Dr. Deirdre Tobias, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition, at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a nutrition and obesity epidemiologist, and a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030. Dr. Tobias will share details on the scientific review process, how the Advisory Committee arrived at their recommendations, and the role of health equity in shaping the next set of Dietary Guidelines.
This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation, the Harvard Health Law Society, and the Harvard Food Law Society.
