The standard student budget establishes the annual limit on financial aid (grants and loans from all sources) available to each student under ordinary circumstances and is intended to allow for a reasonable standard of living for students during the 9 month academic year. Occasionally students experience unexpected expenses due to emergency situations or encounter academic related expenses which exceed the budget afforded by the standard cost of attendance. In these circumstance we encourage students to reach out to the Student Financial Services team to discuss options.
