ITS provides computer hardware and peripheral device recommendations to HLS faculty and applicable departments. ITS staff schedule individual consultations, prior to an HLS computer upgrade, to recommend computer hardware appropriate to an individual’s workflow and software needs.

Standard Features

  • ITS staff meet with faculty and applicable staff prior to computer upgrades
  • ITS provides research services to ensure that upgraded hardware is appropriate for an individual’s desired software configuration
  • ITS staff suggest hardware upgrades, beyond the HLS standard configuration, as appropriate, and research compatibility of the same

Optional Features

  • Non-standard hardware requests must be approved by ITS in order to receive support

User Requirements

Service is limited to tenured faculty, assistant professors, restricted departments, and others as ITS deems it necessary
