Data Recovery allows data from up to 42 days before the restoration request date to be restored when the data is lost, missing, or inadvertently overwritten.

Standard Features

  • Previous Versions –  A customer facing feature which allows users to browse two weeks worth of backed up data on department (R:), personal (OneDrive), and faculty shared (S:) drives
  • Tape Recovery – Users can call the ITS Service Desk to request restores of shared network drive data from as far as 42 days in the past

User Requirements

Users need HLS computer accounts in order to access the shared drives through their HLS PC’s or terminal services.

  • Tape restore requests come through the ITS Service Desk during normal hours of operation, 8:30AM – 5:30PM, Monday-Friday
