The 2026-27 DOJ Honors and SLIP application window has opened and will close at 11:59 pm on September 8th.  Note that this year’s application is on a new platform.  While most aspects of the application remain the same as in past years, there may be some small differences, and due to the short application window, we don’t have time to fully update our online Guide to reflect the new platform. You may still find useful information in our Guide, but you should also be sure to consult DOJ’s application tips, and always defer to DOJ’s advice when there are any inconsistencies.

OPIA is recruiting members of the HLS public interest alumni community to mentor JD students through our Mentor Matching Program. Our hope is to match public interest students with alumni mentors who share similar career interests and/or who have navigated similar challenges.
