This seems like the perfect time to feature one of my favorite spots on campus: the HLS “love bench.”

Whether you left law to raise children, care for ill parents, address personal matters, or switch careers, there is a way back in, even if you have been out for 10+ years. This program addresses how to frame your prior experience and your hiatus in order to move toward reentering the legal workforce. Patricia Hennessy is an HLS alumna who coaches individuals on all career related matters including re-entry.  Lindsey Boyle is the Hiring Manager of the OnRamp Fellowship which is a national program that provides year-long reentry opportunities to lawyers.

Hailing from all services and both the officer and enlisted ranks, veterans form an important and growing community at Harvard Law. In particular, the number of former enlisted students at HLS has grown significantly over the last few years.

We are continuing our Meet the J.D. Admissions Team series with Patty and Cindy, the Back Office team!

1Ls are now able to apply for for entry into the Graduate Law program while 2Ls are able to apply for the One Year College Program. Online applications will be accepted until January 10, 2019. Other important deadlines for the program include:
January 10, 2019: Complete an interview with AFROTC Detachment Commander
February 1, 2019: Complete an interview with a Staff Judge Advocate
