Professor Tanner Allread is seeking one or more research assistants for two projects: 1) a law review article on the history of Indian Territory and current litigation over tribal authority in Oklahoma, and 2) a short legal history article on tribal constitution making in the West. The work will involve compiling and reviewing archival materials, analyzing judicial opinions, and assisting with citations. Students can expect to work 5-10 hours a week through the fall semester, with the possibility of additional work in the spring semester.
