About the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation
The Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation pursues more equitable, just, and sustainable health and food systems by supporting clients, community partners, and movements with legal expertise and policy advocacy. As a clinical program, we educate students to become skilled, innovative, and thoughtful health and food system practitioners.
The Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation is looking for a Clinical Fellow to join the Health Law and Policy Clinic (HLPC) Team.
Fellowship Summary
Clinical Fellows work under the supervision of the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation’s (CHLPI) Health Law and Policy Clinic (HLPC) clinical instructors to analyze, explain and promote better public understanding of the laws regulating the healthcare system; to advocate for legal, regulatory, and policy reforms to expand access to high-quality healthcare; to reduce health disparities; to address social determinants of health; and to promote more equitable and effective health and public health systems. To meet these goals, Clinical Fellows work with diverse stakeholders, including consumers, advocates, community-based organizations, health and social services professionals, government officials and others, as well as with HLPC’s clinical staff and students.
The fellowship represents a unique opportunity to work within Harvard Law School’s clinical program, to join a dynamic public interest and clinical teaching health and public health law and policy clinic, and to practice in burgeoning areas of state and national importance.
