HLS Professor Lucian Bebchuk testified before House Financial Services Committee at a hearing entitled “Compensation in the Financial Industry,” on Friday, Jan. 22.

Bebchuk is the director of the Program on Corporate Governance at HLS and the co-author, with HLS Professor Jesse Fried, of “Pay without Performance: The Unfulfilled Promise of Executive Compensation.”
Also testifying before the House Committee were Columbia Business School Professor Joseph Stiglitz, and Nell Minow, the editor and founder of The Corporate Library and sister of HLS Dean Martha Minow.
