On Wednesday, May 29, members of the Class of 2019 celebrated classmates who have made outstanding contributions during their time at HLS. Highlights included speeches by Roberta Kaplan, who represented Edith Windsor in the landmark Supreme Court case that ruled the Defense of Marriage Act violated the Constitution, and Professor Richard Lazarus ’79, winner of the 2017 Albert M. Sacks-Paul A. Freund Award for Teaching Excellence.
