Sondra M. Miller ’53, a pioneering member of the first class at Harvard Law School to admit women and a trailblazing jurist who served as a judge in New York courts for 22 years, passed away at age 95 on August 7, 2024.
Throughout her career, Miller, who was a justice on the Family Court, Supreme Court, and the Appellate Division in the State of New York, directed her energies to improving the legal system, with a special focus on the interests of children and their families and on championing opportunities and success for women in the legal profession.
