Harvard Law School’s Class Day and Commencement exercises took place May 28-29, 2025.
The festivities kicked off on Wednesday, May 28, as graduates celebrated Class Day, at which several faculty, staff, and students were honored for their achievements and contributions. On Thursday, May 29, after university-wide morning exercises, Harvard Law School presented Juris Doctor, Master of Laws, and Doctor of Juridical Science degrees to the Class of 2025.
Former Golden State Warriors General Manager Bob Myers, currently an ESPN analyst, delivered remarks as this year’s Class Day speaker, while Andrew Manuel Crespo ’08, the Morris Wasserstein Public Interest Professor of Law, was recognized during Class Day with the Albert M. Sacks-Paul A. Freund Award for Teaching Excellence, an honor bestowed each year on a faculty member for teaching ability, attentiveness to student concerns, and general contributions to student life at the law school.
Ralph Vieux, staff assistant in the Office of Community Engagement, Equity, and Belonging at Harvard Law School was honored with the the Suzanne L. Richardson Staff Appreciation Award, which is given each year to a staff member who demonstrates commitment to the student experience and concern for students’ lives and work.
