Harvard Law professor Jack Goldsmith shares his perspective on American institutions and the Trump presidency in a recent interview with Weekly Standard editor-at-large Bill Kristol.
The Henry L. Shattuck Professor of Law at Harvard University, Goldsmith is the co-founder of the Lawfare blog, and author of “The Terror Presidency: Law and Judgment Inside The Bush Administration,” as well as of other books and articles on many topics related to terrorism, national security, international law, conflicts of law, and internet law. Prior to joining the HLS faculty, Goldsmith served as assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel (2003-2004) and special counsel to the general counsel to the Department of Defense ( 2002-2003).
