The Celebration of Women reunion event has been a tradition at Harvard Law School since it was first held in 1978, 25 years after the first thirteen pioneering women attended the institution. Since then, many celebrations have taken place, with alumnae returning to campus regularly to reconnect with classmates and make new connections among attendees.
This year, on April 4 and 5, more than 200 alumnae braved a nor’easter to connect with friends and alums across the generations. The celebration featured fireside chats between Solicitor General of the United States Elizabeth B. Prelogar ’08 and Lindsay Breedlove ’09, Harvard Law School Association president and senior director of Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical; and between former Attorney General of the United States Loretta Lynch ’84, now a partner at Paul, Weiss, and Annette Gordon-Reed ’84, Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University.
