Lucian Bebchuk, director of HLS’s Program on Corporate Governance, was named as one of this year’s “100 most influential people in finance” by Treasury & Risk Management magazine. The list recognizes leaders in corporate finance, ranging from CEOs to regulators to academics.

Others named to the 2005 list include President George Bush, Oracle CEO Lawrence Ellison, Lazzard CEO Bruce Wasserstein ’71 and New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer ’84.

The list specifically noted Bebchuk’s contributions to the field in relation to “Pay Without Performance,” the book he co-wrote which critiques the structure of corporate boards and executive compensation schemes. The full list is available on the Treasury & Risk Management website.
