Bolatito “Tito” Morolake Adetula ’24 is the inaugural winner of the Yvonne L. Smith Award. This award recognizes a graduating student who has demonstrated an exemplary dedication to supporting other students throughout their time at Harvard Law School.

Sydney Veatch ’24 is the recipient of this year’s Westfall Memorial Award, which recognizes a student or students with outstanding contributions to creating community within their first-year section and class.

Christine Desan, the 2024 recipient of Harvard Law School’s Albert M. Sacks-Paul A. Freund Award for Teaching Excellence, congratulated the nearly 800 graduating students and thanked them from the bottom of her heart for the honor.

“Seize your newfound power, your influence, your hearts, and your expertise and put it to good use,” United States Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland urged graduating Harvard Law School students at the 2024 Class Day ceremony.

Kamille Bernard ’24 and Lea Kayali ’24 are the recipients of the 2024 Kristin P. Muniz Memorial Award, bestowed in memory of the beloved Criminal Justice Institute (CJI) senior clinical instructor to honor students who exemplify her commitment to justice and superb client-centered representation.

Brenna Phillips ’24 has been awarded the 2024 Righeimer Prize, an honor that celebrates a graduating student in recognition of exceptional citizenship within the Harvard Law School community.

Arjun Gananathan ’24 is the winner of the 2024 Ralph D. Gants Access to Justice Award, honored for his leadership in the Youth Advocacy and Policy Lab and the Criminal Justice Institute.

Bridget Pranzatelli ’24 is the recipient of the 2024 Andrew L. Kaufman Pro Bono Service Award. She is recognized for her outstanding contributions to the Crimmigration Clinic, leadership in Harvard Defenders, and her extraordinary commitment to pro bono service.

Brenna Phillips ’24 spent the past three years helping create community on the Harvard Law School campus, and plans to use her degree to promote education reform.

David Paul ’24 is the recipient of the 2024 David A. Grossman Exemplary Clinical Student Award. Paul is honored for his exceptional achievements in the Veterans Law and Disability Benefits Clinic of the Legal Services Center (LSC) and the Criminal Prosecution Clinic.
