The Harvard Plaintiffs’ Law Association (HPLA) exists to support law students looking to become plaintiff-side attorneys who will represent the interests of victims, advocate for consumers’ rights and equal access to justice, and ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.

Serving as a section representative is an easy way to connect with firms, practitioners, and the HPLA community. Section reps spread the word about HPLA events in their section chats (information provided). They also get to work with firms attending our annual Plaintiffs’ Law Job Fair in December and receive one-on-one mentorship from HPLA Board members. Other perks include HPLA swag and invitations to small-group events throughout the year. Previous section reps have joined the Executive Board and secured summer jobs at plaintiffs’ firms.
