Web and Social Media Manager
Linda Braden joined HLS’s Office of Public Interest Advising in 2014. Linda leads communication strategies and projects and coordinates programming to help students learn about and land careers in the several diverse fields of public interest law. She came from the University of Montana’s Office of International Programs, where she served as Media Information Specialist and Assistant to the Director and before that, as Study Abroad Coordinator. Linda has a B.A., cum laude, in International Affairs from Xavier University and an M.A. in International Studies and Latin American Studies from Ohio University. She enjoys practicing yoga, gardening, traveling, cooking, hiking, biking, and running.
Recruitment & Social Events Manager
Jacquelyn Kenahan joined Harvard Law School in September 2013 working in the Office of Event Scheduling Support before moving to Harvard Law School’s Executive Education Department in 2015. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and decided to commit to switching careers to event/program management after working in the architectural engineering technology field for six years. She became actively involved and joined volunteer planning committees and pursued an internship with Alzheimer’s Association. From those commitments and dedication, she gained experience which lead her to where she is today. Since being at Harvard she has participated on committees within the Harvard community such as: The Harvard Law School Green Team, Executive Education Summit, Board of Freshman Advisers, and participates in the HLS Emerging Leaders program which she now serves on the board. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, live music and snowboarding.
Melissa Courage Korta

Melissa is a Coordinator for The Office of Clinical and Pro Bono Programs at Harvard Law School. Prior to joining Harvard in 2012, she worked in undergraduate admissions and healthcare administration. She graduated from Manhattan College, cum laude, with a B.A. in Communications and minors in Spanish and Sociology. True to her maiden name, in June 2017, Melissa was the recipient of the Harvard Heroes award. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, and visiting tropical locations.
Community Service Manager
Lisa joined the Office of Academic Affairs in 2015. She brings a communications background to her role at Harvard Law School, possessing a unique blend of agency, government, corporate and non-profit sector experience. She started her career at a top 10 global PR firm, working in both the U.K. and Boston offices. Most recently she was a spokesperson for the Massachusetts Port Authority, where she was a trusted source of information 24/7 for Boston Logan International Airport, Cruiseport Boston, the Tobin Bridge, and other properties in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Prior to that, she spent time in the Washington D.C. Press Office of Sen. Ted Kennedy. Before that, she served on the presidential campaign for Sen. John Kerry, as part of his National Advance Staff. Lisa holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University.
Program Development Manager
Naomi Schaffer joined the Graduate Program at HLS as a temp in August of 2012, and as a full employee in her current position in 2013. She has B.A. in Sociology from McGill University, with minors in Anthropology and Linguistics. Naomi recently earned her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Harvard Extension school. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and puzzles of all kinds.
Alumni Relations Manager
Phoebe Tamminen joined Harvard Law School Executive Education in December 2014. She is a Program Coordinator and Assistant to Professor Scott Westfahl, Faculty Director of HLS Executive Education. Phoebe works with the Executive Education team to develop and deliver open enrollment and custom programs. She also assists Professor Westfahl with his Executive Education and J.D. curricula. Phoebe graduated from Bates College, cum laude, in May 2014 with a B.A. in Classics and minor in visual art teacher education. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education.
Mentor Program Manager
Samantha Timpano came to IT Services at HLS from Harvard’s Central Administration IT in 2009 and is a Senior Business Systems Analyst. She has a degree in Mathematics from Smith college and a Masters in Information Technology Management from Brandeis. Samantha began her career as a software developer and has experience working in both industry and higher education. After beginning work at Harvard, she chose to make the transition from software coding to project management and business analysis in order to spend more time working with and advocating for administrators and end users who use technology daily for business. When not occupied by work, she enjoys spending time birdwatching, playing video games, making jewelry, and going on long bicycle rides.
