The Antiquities Coalition

Sarah Shiloah Boxer will spend her fellowship year in Rome, Italy, with The Antiquities Coalition, working alongside UNIDROIT’s cultural property program. Her work will focus on developing policy and legislative approaches to protect cultural heritage and art from a comparative and international legal perspective, with particular attention to the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2019/880 in Italy and other European Union member states.
Sarah is a February 2026 graduate of the Harvard Law School JD/University of Cambridge LLM joint degree program and passed the New York State Bar Examination in 2026. In recognition of her commitment to public service, she was named an Honorary Presidential Scholar at Harvard Law School for the 2025–2026 academic year. During her time at Harvard Law School, she completed more than 1,000 hours of pro bono service and was a clinical student in the Dispute Systems Design (Negotiation and Mediation) Clinic.
Sarah spent her 1L and 3L summers with the British Institute of International and Comparative Law in London. During her 2L summer, she served as a clerk and Chayes International Public Service Fellow at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. She also completed an independent winter clinical placement with the European Parliament in
Brussels.
Before law school, Sarah attended The George Washington University, where she studied International Affairs and Conflict Resolution. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, she is passionate about cultural heritage protection, the arts, tennis, and travel.
