Gender Justice

Caroline Casey will spend her fellowship year with Gender Justice, where she will contribute to strategic litigation advancing reproductive justice and LGBTQ liberation.
During her time at HLS, Caroline represented clients in criminal show cause hearings with Harvard Defenders and helped people secure release from immigration detention as a student attorney in the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic. She served as Vice President of the Alliance for Reproductive Justice and Strategic Partnerships Chair for the HLS chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Caroline spent her law school summers working at Gender Justice
and Loevy & Loevy.
Caroline holds a B.A. in Quantitative Social Science from Dartmouth College. She is grateful to be a recipient of the Skirnick Fellowship and Judge Edith W. Fine Award, and looks forward to using her law degree to advance anticarceral gender equity.
