Northwest Immigrant Rights Project

Roxana will work as a staff attorney at Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), a nonprofit organization providing immigration legal services to low-income clients in Washington State. There, she will provide direct legal services to children and youth, and assist with a class action lawsuit seeking appointed counsel for immigrant youth in removal proceedings. While in law school, Roxana interned at the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice, the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, and Alternative Law Forum in Bangalore, India. After graduation, Roxana served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catharine Easterly at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
