Ricardo Díaz-Alarcón completed an LL.M. at Harvard Law School and an LL.B. cum laude at Los Andes University at Bogotá, Colombia. He was a clinician at Harvard Law School’s Animal Law & Policy Clinic and a member of the Animal Law Society.

Prior to his studies at HLS, Ricardo worked as a legal and policy adviser at Bogotá’s City Council, where he played a key role in advancing reforms pertaining to the use of animals in entertainment, companion animal trade, and transportation of farmed animals.
