Elizabeth will work as an immigration staff attorney at Ayuda, a nonprofit immigration organization in Falls Church, VA, where she will focus on direct services and social services provision. Passionate about immigration law since before law school, Elizabeth interned at the Centro de los Derechos del Migrante in Mexico City with a Chayes Fellowship, and at the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. She received Harvard’s Human Rights Program fellowship to travel to Johannesburg for a summer to work as an intern at Lawyers For Human Rights. Before law school, Elizabeth worked as a Senior Social Services Program Associate at Tahirih Justice Center and as a Girls’ Education and Empowerment Advisor for the US Peace Corps. She holds an M.S. in Migration, Mobility & Development from the University of London as well as a B.A. from The American University.
