European Court of Human Rights

Strasbourg, France

Claire will spend her fellowship year at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.

During her time in law school, Claire was a Research Assistant at the Program on International Law and Armed Conflict, Project Coordinator at HLS Advocates for Human Rights, and Assistant Managing Editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal. As a student attorney in the International Human Rights Clinic, she helped draft a brief to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in support of Mexican indigenous communities’ right to direct budgeting.

She has completed several internships focused on international human rights law, including at the Center for Justice and Accountability, LexCollective, and the Platform to Protect Whistleblowers in Africa.

Claire graduated from New York University in 2021 with a B.A. in Politics, minoring in French and Peace & Conflict Studies.
