Towards Justice
Denver, CO
Brianne has been awarded a 2019-2019 PSVF fellowship to work at Towards Justice in Denver, Colorado. At Towards Justice, Brianne will work to recover stolen wages and empower workers across Colorado. Utilizing her experience with both community lawyering and working in government and with government partners, a focus of Brianne’s work will be supporting the public enforcement of wage theft laws and increasing ties between public enforcers and impacted communities.
Brianne graduated from Harvard Law School in 2018 after graduating from St. Olaf College with a degree in mathematics and a concentration in family studies.
In law school, Brianne was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Gender and a board member of Project No One Leaves. As part of Project No One Leaves, Brianne helped lead canvasses of neighborhoods in the Greater Boston Area to inform people of their housing and immigration rights and connect them to community organizations. Brianne also served as a fellow for the Harvard Criminal Justice Policy Program, where she worked with government partners to advance bail reform strategies, and participated in the Harvard Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinic.
Brianne spent her first summer of law school in the State Services Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and her second summer at Towards Justice, where she will return for this fellowship.
Following her graduation from Harvard Law School, Brianne clerked for Justice William W. Hood, III, at the Colorado Supreme Court.
