Hana is committed to providing zealous advocacy to individuals who otherwise could not afford an attorney. As a student attorney with Harvard’s Criminal Justice Institute, Hana represented indigent adult and juvenile clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges in Boston’s criminal courts. Hana also worked in her law school’s Housing Law Clinic, where she fought for indigent clients threatened with illegal evictions. Hana spent her law school summers in Southern California, where she interned with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and with Public Counsel. Each of these experiences helped inform Hana’s commitment to client-centered advocacy. Hana will begin her public interest career working as a staff attorney at Inland Counties Legal Services in Riverside, California.
