Sam Magaram will serve as an appellate attorney in the Solicitor General’s Office of the North Carolina Department of Justice. During law school, Sam represented veterans in federal court and administrative hearings through the Veterans Law and Disability Benefits Clinic. He also completed an independent clinical program in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office’s Conviction Integrity Unit. Sam spent his 2L summer at the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section and his 1L summer with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Prior to law school, Sam worked as a consultant, most recently leading Capital One Commercial Bank’s strategy function. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
