Bryna will be joining the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN, primarily working to pursue immigration relief for individuals who are in detention. Bryna first worked at ILCM during the summer following her first year of law school, assisting clients seeking asylum, release from detention, and other immigration relief. During her time in law school, she also worked on a series of civil rights cases at the ACLU of Massachusetts, pursued habeas relief for an individual while in the Crimmigration Clinic, and drafted legislation aimed at reducing exploitation of incarcerated individuals as part of the Cyberlaw Clinic. She was also an editor and Vice President/Treasurer of Harvard Law Review. Prior to law school, Bryna worked as a journalist in Minnesota and Wisconsin, reporting primarily on state and local government for The Capital Times, The Associated Press, and other news organizations.
