Historical & Special Collections coordinates the Library’s exhibits program, which features educational and entertaining displays drawn from the School’s archives and from the Library’s collections of legal art, rare books, and manuscripts. These exhibits are staged in the Caspersen Room, located at the north end of the Reading Room in Langdell Hall. Visitors may view exhibits in the Caspersen Room daily from 9:00 to 5:00. A smaller display case located in the building link between Areeda and Langdell Halls features exhibits that rotate more frequently, with preference given to memorials honoring HLS faculty and other members of the HLS community.
The Library welcomes exhibit suggestions. Please contact Karen Beck, Manager of Historical & Special Collections, 617-496-2107, for further information.
Dean’s Office Display Cases
The display cases outside the Dean’s Office in Griswold Hall contain a permanent exhibit of books recently published by faculty members. Please contact June Casey, Librarian for Open Access Initiatives and Scholarly Communication, 617-495-4492, if you would like your book displayed.
