Episode 25: Jessica Crews
Jessica Crews, Harvard University Dining Services
In this episode, Edgar sits down with Jessica from HUDS. He learns about her close connections with her co-workers and how their lives overlap. She talks about her family and childhood in Winthrop, Revere, Back Bay and Cambridge. She talks about working at Fenway with the Red Sox for 22 years, until she started working at Harvard in 2010 with Restaurant Associates. Edgar and Jessica reminisce about old event spaces in Pound Hall and students Parody. She also shares her joy of seeing the students every day. They discuss the ways things used to be before cell phones, and they joke about memories from the past.
The goal of this podcast is to introduce folks to HLS staff members from across the community. You may recognize the names of some guests, and if you don’t, that’s okay! We hope that you will tune in to learn more about your colleagues—what their role is, what makes them tick, and why they do the work that they do at HLS. If you’re interested in being a guest, please let us know—we would love to hear your story. Our stories bring us together; we come from different backgrounds and serve all different roles, but our shared community at HLS unites us. Let us hear your story!
