To kick off Season 2 of Tell Me Your Story, Edgar goes back to where it all started and sits down with Yvonne Smith one more time.  They bond over the many memories they have shared together, and Edgar learns more about Yvonne’s life story.  She talks about her mother, surviving cancer, Depression, all of the work that goes into orientation and commencement, the Harvard Hero Award, and the Yvonne L. Smith Award (the first award for students named after a staff member).

The goal of this podcast is to introduce folks to HLS staff members from across the community. You may recognize the names of some guests, and if you don’t, that’s okay!  We hope that you will tune in to learn more about your colleagues—what their role is, what makes them tick, and why they do the work that they do at HLS.  If you’re interested in being a guest, please let us know—we would love to hear your story.
