Episode 14: Susan Salvato Part 1
Susan Salvato
(Retired) Associate Registrar for Office Management and Operations for the Registrar’s Office
This episode is filled with stories of HLS from the past to the present. Susan brings us back to the early 80s with her first job at HLS which was in what is now known as ITS. Susan talks about so many different areas of campus and her connections with the many people she has interacted with at HLS and Harvard. Susan also goes into detail about her reasoning for why she’s well-known for holding room spaces hostage. Edgar was grateful to have a chance to connect with Susan just a few short weeks before her retirement after dedicating so many years to the HLS community.
The goal of this podcast is to introduce folks to HLS staff members from across the community. You may recognize the names of some guests, and if you don’t, that’s okay! We hope that you will tune in to learn more about your colleagues—what their role is, what makes them tick, and why they do the work that they do at HLS. If you’re interested in being a guest, please let us know—we would love to hear your story. Our stories bring us together; we come from different backgrounds and serve all different roles, but our shared community at HLS unites us. Let us hear your story!
