Richard Hinckley Field (1903-1978) served on the Harvard Law School faculty from 1946 to 1978. He was a Visiting Professor of Law 1946-1947; Professor of Law 1947-1969; Story Professor of Law 1969-1974; and an Emeritus professor 1974-1978.
