Oliver Sanford Oldman (1920-2008) served on the Harvard Law School faculty from 1955 to 2008. He was a Research Associate in Law 1955-1957; Lecturer on International Tax Law 1957-1959; Assistant Professor of Law 1959-1961; Professor of Law 1961-1976; Learned Hand Professor of Law 1976-1991; and an Emeritus professor 1992-2008. He was Director of the International Program in Taxation 1964-1989 and Director of the East Asian Legal Studies Program 1981-1990.

Research: Tax policy, comparative and international tax law, state and local tax, tax reform in developing countries.
